Saying ‘break up with him’ might sound very convenient but the process of breaking up is unarguably hard, even if you are the one initiating it. Not to mention the outburst of emotions which shatter our self-esteem and leave us almost a useless object.
So, here we tell you of tried and tested ways to deal with the breakup stress and to get over it for once and for all:
- Accept social invitations
The first few weeks post breakup can be challenging to survive and the best thing to do in this situation is have fun. Go shopping, get yourself new, stylish outfits. Take selfies in that golden hour. Find your freedom by being a party animal and attend all and every party that you are invited to. Doing all this will not only help you in making new friends but you will also realize that being single doesn’t necessarily mean that you are alone.
- Eat healthy and work out
Go shopping and get yourself rich greens, fruits of the season, give your body what it needs. Plan recipes out. Make yourself warm cups of green tea and coffee. Buy yourself chocolates. And don’t let these good-to-my-body- attempts stop at food, hit the gyy and join a yoga or aerobics class. Breathe slowly, stretch yourself out, and make the entire experience worthwhile. Start taking care of yourself to allow your mind to heal after an emotional trauma.
- Focus on your work and career
Let your breakup be an excuse to solidify your career and professional goals. Find motivation to pursue your studies and dedicate yourself to work, with no distractions. Feed your ambition and use the freedom of not having to consider another person’s aspirations to enhance your self-love.
